The National Assembly Standing Committee recently held a meeting to consider and decide on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels for the 2023-2025 period of 12 provinces and cities.

Localities considered for administrative unit arrangement in this period include: An Giang, Dong Thap, Ha Nam, Hanoi, Ha Tinh, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Tho, Son La, Quang Ngai, Quang Tri, Tra Vinh, Vinh Phuc.

According to the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units in the period of 2023-2025, Kim Bang district (Ha Nam) will merge the entire natural area and population size of Nhat Tuu commune (with a natural area of ​​3.96km², reaching 18.86% of the standard; population size of 6,147 people, reaching 76.84% of the standard) and Nhat Tan commune (with a natural area of ​​4.688km², reaching 22.32% of the standard; population size of 12,443 people, reaching 155.53% of the standard) to establish Tan Tuu ward.

After establishment, the new Tan Tuu ward will have a natural area of ​​8.648km², reaching 157.24% of the standard, and a population of 18,590 people, reaching 371.80% of the standard.
