The conference announced the Decisions and Resolutions of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council on the appointment of management leaders under the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council; Committees of the City People's Council. In which, the Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council is Mr. Le Hong Dien. The Deputy Chiefs of Office include Mr. Bui Quang Hao, Tran Van Huu, Nguyen Tong Quan, Nguyen Tien Thanh.
The Deputy Heads of the City People's Council's specialized departments include: Deputy Head of the Legal Department: Mr. Nguyen Vinh Son; Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Department: Ms. Tran Thi Lan Anh; Deputy Head of the Cultural - Social Department, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen and Ms. Tran Thi Lien; Deputy Head of the Urban Department, Ms. Trinh Thuy Nga.
The conference also announced the Decision of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on appointing leaders and managers of specialized agencies under the Hai Phong City People's Committee after the merger.

Department of Home Affairs: The Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee also issued Decision No. 2638/QD-UBND appointing Mr. Vu Tien Phung, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs. According to Hai Phong City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau, up to now, the work of merging the two localities to establish the new Hai Phong City has been basically completed. The merger projects, as well as the personnel plan and the assignment and transfer of 159 personnel under agencies and units this time all achieved a very high consensus in the Standing Committee of the new Hai Phong City Party Committee.
Regarding this personnel work, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee have previously prepared carefully and the Standing Committee of the new Hai Phong City Party Committee has discussed very carefully, considered many aspects, assessed the advantages and limitations of each comrade in their current position and including the position they have held; be fair, objective, and select the most suitable person for the position, according to the requirements of the general task.
