The Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee presented early retirement decisions and presented gratitude symbols to 43 cadres under the management of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee. Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau acknowledged, commended and expressed gratitude for the contributions of cadres who retired early in the process of streamlining the organizational apparatus. These are genuine Party members, pioneering revolutionary soldiers, sacrificing personal interests, for the common interests of the city; for the development of the younger generation. This is a valuable thing and needs to be honored and exemplary for cadres and party members in the entire political system of the city to learn, behave and act.
On the same day, Hai Phong announced and presented decisions on organization and personnel work under the management of the City Party Committee of the government sector. The decisions take effect from March 1, 2025.
Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs was established on the basis of merging the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs. Mr. Pham Ngoc Duong - Director of the Department of Home Affairs holds the position of Director of the Department of Home Affairs after merging the two Departments.
The Department of Finance was established on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu - Director of the Department of Planning and Investment will hold the position of Director of the Department of Finance after the merger.
The Department of Construction was established on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Director of the Department of Construction will hold the position of Director of the Department of Construction after the merger.
The Department of Science and Technology was established on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology. Mr. Nguyen Cao Lan - Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - was transferred and appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Science and Technology.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was established on the basis of merging the Department of Culture and Sports and the Department of Tourism. Ms. Tran Thi Hoang Mai - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports holds the position of Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism after the merger.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment was established on the basis of merging the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. Mr. Duong Dinh An - Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment - holds the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment after merging the two Departments.
The conference also announced the decision of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on: transferring and appointing Mr. Vu Duy Tung - Director of the Department of Transport - to hold the position of Chief Inspector of the City; Mr. Le Ngoc Lan - Vice Chairman of Vinh Bao District People's Committee - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Dinh Minh Tuan - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training. Mr. Dao Phu Thuy Duong - Secretary of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee - was appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board.
