At the session, delegates of the Hai Phong City People's Council voted and unanimously approved 11 resolutions: Policy on contributing funds from the city budget to implement the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong Railway Construction Investment Project (section through Hai Phong); Amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulations on principles, criteria, and norms for allocating public investment capital from the city budget for the period 2021 - 2025 issued with Resolution No. 12/2020 of the City People's Council; Adjusting and supplementing the list of land plots for bidding for investment projects using land in the city for the period 2025 - 2026.
The People's Council also passed a resolution stipulating the content and expenditure levels for performing scientific and technological tasks using the city budget; Issuing a list of public career services using the state budget in the field of Natural Resources and Environment in the area; Regulations on the collection and unit for calculating environmental protection fees for mineral exploitation.
The delegates unanimously approved the resolution deciding to establish a number of specialized agencies under the City People's Committee (establishing 6 departments and branches on the basis of merging 12 departments and branches, including: Department of Finance, Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Science and Technology, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism); Additional support regime and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in implementing the reorganization of the apparatus of the political system in the city...
Also at the meeting, the Hai Phong City People's Council elected the position of Head of the Urban Committee of the City People's Council, term 16 (term 2021 - 2026) for Mr. Pham Van Khanh, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Kien An District.
