The regular meeting in mid-2026 is of great significance to comprehensively assess the implementation of socio-economic development tasks, national defense, security, state budget revenue and expenditure in the first 6 months of the year; consider, discuss and decide on key tasks and solutions to complete the development goals and targets for 2026.
Speaking at the opening of the session, Mr. Tran Quoc Van - Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - emphasized that the session is organized in the context that the whole province is focusing on implementing the goals and tasks for 2026 and continuing to concretize the major guidelines and orientations of the Central Government and the Provincial Party Committee on socio-economic development, building 2-level local governments, promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, developing science, technology and innovation.

At the Hung Yen Provincial People's Council meeting, voters in many localities proposed that the province pay attention to allocating resources to solve difficulties in infrastructure, public offices and implement projects serving socio-economic development.
Accordingly, voters in Hung Ha commune proposed that the province support about 102 billion VND of investment capital in 2026 to definitively handle outstanding basic construction debts of previous district-level projects transferred to the commune level as investors.
Regarding facilities, voters reflected that the locality currently manages and uses 44/61 headquarters, and 17 headquarters are implementing handling plans according to regulations. In addition, many headquarters of central and provincial agencies in the area have not yet been handed over. Voters proposed that the province soon direct, guide and hand over the headquarters for the locality to manage, exploit, and use effectively.

Voters in Dong Tien Hung commune also proposed that the province support investment in the construction of roads connecting Khuoc village to the villages of the old Hop Tien commune to facilitate travel and economic development.
Meanwhile, voters in Dong Tien Hai commune reflected that Dong Tien Hai martyrs' cemetery has basically run out of area. With more than 800 martyrs and the need to repatriate remains to their homeland is still large, voters proposed that the province pay attention to supporting funds to expand, repair and upgrade the cemetery, meeting the needs of burial and repatriation of martyrs' remains, and at the same time expressing the morality of gratitude to heroic martyrs.

Speaking at the session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Tran Quoc Van requested delegates to focus on discussing and questioning key issues, difficulties and obstacles in socio-economic development, management, administration and issues of concern to voters and people.
Questioning needs to clarify responsibilities, causes and remedial solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management and supervision activities of the Provincial People's Council.
At the same time, requesting the submitting agencies, appraisal agencies, departments, branches and localities to proactively receive and fully explain the contents of concern to delegates and voters.
