On July 14, the People's Council of Thai Nguyen province, term XIV, 2021 - 2026, held a second session to review and resolve issues under its authority.
Speaking at the meeting, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Binh emphasized that this meeting will consider discussing 5 contents of strategic significance. These issues are directly related to the orientation of economic and social development, policies, financial management mechanisms and infrastructure investment of the province after the merger.
These are contents that need to be implemented immediately after being put into operation by the two-level local government. At the same time, it is a legal basis for authorities at all levels to be proactive and flexible in organizing the implementation of economic and social development tasks.
The draft Resolutions discussed include: Assigning the Provincial People's Committee to decide to adjust the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and annually of the district-level budget; Agreeing on the proposal to implement the investment project to complete the construction of the CT.07 expressway section Hanoi - Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi.
Policy to support staff to work at Thai Nguyen's administrative center after the merger; Regulate the authority to decide on approving tasks and budget estimates for purchasing, repairing, renovating, upgrading, and equipping in projects invested in construction in the area.
Decentralization of revenue sources, expenditure tasks and percentage (%) of revenue division between budget levels in 2025 in Thai Nguyen province.
For the draft to support cadres after the merger, the cost of travel and renting houses is 4 million VND/person/month, with a period of 27 months for cadres from Bac Kan (old) to work at Thai Nguyen administrative center.
The 2nd session of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Council unanimously approved the above 5 Resolutions with the high consensus of the delegates.
