On August 7, the People's Council of Tay Ninh province, term X, 2021-2026, held a second session to assess the socio-economic situation, national defense - security and key areas in the past time.
Speaking at the opening of the session, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ninh province - said that in the first 7 months of the year, the province has simultaneously carried out two key tasks: continuing to reorganize the political apparatus in the direction of streamlining, efficiency and efficiency; while maintaining the momentum of socio-economic growth with many positive results.
The province's economic growth rate (GRDP) reached 9.63%, leading the southern provinces and cities. Total state budget revenue reached more than 31,000 billion VND, equivalent to 85% of the annual estimate.

At the session, the Provincial People's Council passed 14 important resolutions related to socio-economic development, public investment, finance - budget, policies and local legal regulations. In particular, there is a resolution stipulating the fee of 0 VND for some administrative procedures performed through full and partial online public services.
The Provincial People's Council also voted to approve the report on the dismissal of Mr. Vo Van Dung and Mr. Nguyen Van Dung from their duties as People's Council delegates. At the same time, it agreed to set 12 main targets for 2025, in which the economic growth target is set at 9-9.5% and strives to reach double digits.
According to the report of the Department of Finance, after the merger of administrative units, the province has received nearly VND68,000 billion in medium-term public investment capital, including more than VND40,000 billion from the old Long An province and more than VND27,000 billion from Tay Ninh province before the merger.
