On the afternoon of June 14, in Nghe An, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in coordination with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized the scientific conference "Comrade Ho Tung Mau - A steadfast and talented leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution", to celebrate the 130th anniversary of his birth (June 15, 1896 - June 15, 2026).
Attending and chairing the workshop were comrades: Doan Minh Huan - Member of the Politburo, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Khac Than - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council.

Also attending were representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries, branches, Military Region 4, Nghe An province, along with a large number of experts, scientists and relatives of comrade Ho Tung Mau's family.
The conference received nearly 50 reports and scientific papers, focusing on clarifying 4 major contents about the life and career of comrade Ho Tung Mau.
First, Comrade Ho Tung Mau was a communist soldier of the previous generation, making positive contributions to the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam. In 1925, he was one of the first members of the Vietnam Revolutionary Youth Association. At the beginning of Spring 1930, he participated in establishing contacts, contributing to the success of the Conference to unify communist organizations to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam under the chairmanship of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc.
Second, he is a talented leading cadre of the Party and the State, having held the positions of: Political Commissar of War Zone IV, Principal of Military-Political School of War Zone IV, Chairman of the Inter-zone Resistance Committee 4, Inspector General of the Government. In each position, he excellently completed his tasks, especially in inspection work, strictly handling many negative cases.
Third, Comrade Ho Tung Mau was a close and reliable student and colleague of President Ho Chi Minh, a bright example of revolutionary morality. That deep feeling was summarized by Uncle Ho in the Song of Praise when he bravely sacrificed: "Closer than siblings, sharing hardships and blessings, like hands and feet".
Fourth, he is an outstanding son of the Party Committee and people of Nghe An, continuing the tradition of heroic Nghe land, striving to become one of the typical predecessors of the Party.
The conference is an opportunity to express gratitude and honor the noble revolutionary life of Comrade Ho Tung Mau, contributing to educating patriotism and revolutionary ideals for cadres and party members, especially today's young generation.
