Merging 10 departments and branches in Ninh Binh to streamline the apparatus

Ninh Binh - The Provincial People's Council has issued a resolution on reorganizing specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee to streamline the apparatus.

Accordingly, Ninh Binh province will merge the Department of Finance with the Department of Planning and Investment into the Department of Finance; the Department of Construction with the Department of Transport into the Department of Construction; the Department of Science and Technology with the Department of Information and Communications into the Department of Science and Technology; the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment into the Department of Agriculture and Environment; the Department of Home Affairs with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs into the Department of Home Affairs.

After the merger, Ninh Binh province has 13 departments and branches under the Provincial People's Committee including: Department of Finance; Department of Construction; Department of Science and Technology; Department of Agriculture and Environment; Department of Home Affairs; Department of Education and Training; Department of Justice; Department of Health; Department of Industry and Trade; Department of Culture and Sports; Department of Tourism; Provincial Inspectorate; Provincial People's Committee Office.

The departments after the merger will officially come into operation from March 1, 2025.
