On June 30, the Hue Military Command announced the Decision of the Commander of the Hue Military Command on the dissolution of 133 Commune-level Military Commands of districts, towns and cities and announced and presented the decision on the establishment of 40 Commune-level Military Commands of Hue City, including 21 Ward Military Commands and 19 Commune-level Military Commands.
Announcing and handing over the Decision of the Chairman of the Hue City People's Committee on appointing 40 comrades to the position of Commander of the Military Commands of communes and wards, 40 comrades to the Deputy Commanders of the Military Commands of communes and wards, and 40 comrades to the position of assistant to the Military Commands of communes and wards.
Speaking at the assignment, Colonel Phan Thang - Commander of the Hue Military Command respectfully thanked the Party committees and authorities of localities for their attention to leadership, direction, and care in building a constantly growing militia and self-defense force that meets the requirements of the tasks well.
At the same time, he acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the staff of the Military Command at the commune level who have constantly strived and excellently completed the assigned tasks, contributing significantly to the cause of building a national defense.
The Commander of the Hue City Military Command requested the Military Command of 40 communes and wards to quickly approach and grasp the work, promptly advise local Party committees and authorities on leadership of local defense and military work at the grassroots level, closely coordinate with local forces to maintain political security and local safety and order.
Attending all personnel of the Military Command at the commune level, strictly maintaining the prescribed regimes, especially combat readiness, grasping the local situation, being ready to participate in the task of preventing natural disasters, floods, storms, rescue, and protecting peace for the people.
At the same time, the task was assigned to the agencies and the Command Board of the Area Defense to promptly help and guide the Military Commands of communes and wards on a number of tasks so that the Military Commands of communes and wards can successfully carry out the task right from the first day and first month.
