On February 25, Phong Dien District Party Committee (Can Tho City) held a conference to implement the decision of the City Party Committee Standing Committee on personnel work.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee's Organization Committee - announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on considering the proposal of the Phong Dien District Party Committee Executive Committee, term 2020 - 2025 and the City Party Committee's Organization Committee approved Mr. Nguyen Trung Nghia - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Phong Dien District People's Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Phong Dien District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Van Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Can Tho City - hoped that Mr. Nguyen Trung Nghia personally would continue to promote his achievements and strengths, strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee also requested the collective leadership of Phong Dien district to unite and support Mr. Nguyen Trung Nghia to successfully complete the tasks of the locality in the coming time.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Trung Nghia - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phong Dien District (Can Tho City) - said that in the coming time, together with the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the District Party Committee and the entire political system of Phong Dien District, will continue to inherit and promote the achievements of Phong Dien District over the past 20 years; uphold the tradition of solidarity, unity, innovation and creativity with the determination to build Phong Dien District to develop in each appropriate stage.
