Considering the request of party organizations and inspection teams, the Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee found that Mr. Ngo Quang Loi, former Acting Director of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Hoa Binh Province Branch, during his tenure as Deputy Director of a bank branch in Hoa Binh Province, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated working regulations; violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example.
The above violations of Mr. Ngo Quang Loi have caused public outrage, negatively affected the reputation of the Party Committee, Party organization, agency, and work unit, and damaged the individual's reputation, to the point that disciplinary action must be considered.
Considering the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of the violation; based on Party regulations, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline Mr. Ngo Quang Loi by expulsion.
In addition, the Standing Committee of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee also disciplined Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc - District Party Committee member, former Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kim Boi district by expelling her.
During her tenure as Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kim Boi district, Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc violated Party regulations and State laws in performing her assigned duties and tasks; violated working regulations; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example.
At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee also carried out disciplinary action by expelling three other officials and leaders, including: Tran Van Thanh (Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board), Trinh Ngoc Thuy (Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Vice President of the Provincial Cooperative Union) and Dinh Thi Ngoc Hoa (Vice President of the Provincial Cooperative Union).
All three were sentenced to suspended sentences of 24 to 30 months in prison by the People's Court of Hoa Binh province for seriously violating Party regulations and State laws in the performance of their duties.
