Speaking at the early spring meeting, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong said that the past year 2025 was a year with many difficulties and challenges, but under the close leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, headed by the General Secretary; the drastic direction and administration of the Government and the Prime Minister; the close coordination of departments, ministries, branches, localities, the entire Inspectorate sector in general and the Government Inspectorate in particular have strived to complete a large volume of work, achieving many important and outstanding results of historical significance in 80 years of construction and growth of the Inspectorate sector.
According to the Government Inspector General, 2026 is the first year to implement the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, and at the same time continue to implement the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Government Inspectorate for the term 2025-2030. The tasks set for the Government Inspectorate are very heavy but also very glorious.
Entering the first working days of the new year, the Inspector General of the Government requested all officials, civil servants, public employees, and employees of the Government Inspectorate to quickly stabilize their ideology and working style; promote the spirit of responsibility, discipline, and administrative discipline; and immediately start working with the highest spirit and determination.
Each unit and each individual needs to proactively stick to the 2026 work program and plan and assigned unexpected tasks; Urgently deploy tasks, not to let delays or interruptions occur after the Tet holiday; ensure progress and quality of work.

Regarding inspection work, Departments urgently advise on issuing inspection conclusions (KLTT) for 8 meetings that have reported to the Prime Minister on the draft KLTT; At the same time, focus on issuing KLTT for meetings of 2 topics: (1) on preventing and combating wastefulness; (2) on construction materials; reporting results to Department IV, Department I for general synthesis, reporting to the Prime Minister, Central Steering Committee. Continue to implement the inspections that have been deployed and advise on the deployment of new meetings according to the Plan.
The Central Citizen Reception Board and Departments focus on citizen reception, settlement of complaints and denunciations to serve the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, election of People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term; continue to urge and guide the handling and resolution of the remaining cases of 226 cases and 210 cases; summarize and report according to regulations.
