Attending the inauguration ceremony were General Phan Van Giang - Politburo member, Minister of National Defense; Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh - Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission; Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang - Commander of Military Region 7 along with leaders and former leaders of Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City provinces and many cadres, soldiers and people in the area.
Started on June 4, 2024, the project is deployed on an area of over 18,000m2 in Dat Do town, Long Dat district, with many items such as: memorial house area; park, monument; internal traffic routes, parks, trees, equipment... with a total investment of over 440 billion VND.
The project was inaugurated on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province on April 27. This is also an important project in promoting and developing the socio-economy; propagating, educating and promoting revolutionary traditions to all classes of people in the province.
At the same time, create conditions for people and tourists to remember, visit, and educate the young generation about the example of the heroic martyr Vo Thi Sau; contribute to gradually renovating the urban area, serving the development of socio-economy, trade and tourism services in Long Dat district.
According to the plan, after attending the inauguration ceremony and offering incense to commemorate the heroic martyr Vo Thi Sau, General Phan Van Giang and the working delegation will visit and present gifts to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Hoa Long and Long Phuoc (Ba Ria City).
