Also attending were Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Phong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The construction of the new Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Headquarters is being implemented on the basis of implementing Resolution No. 12-NQ/TW dated March 16, 2022 of the Politburo on building a disciplined, elite, modern People's Public Security force; Resolution No. 12-NQ/DUCA dated July 25, 2022 of the Central Public Security Party Committee and related plans.
According to the design, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Headquarters has a total investment of more than 900 billion VND from the provincial budget, built on an area of about 9 hectares, meeting the working needs of nearly 1,300 officers and soldiers.
The project not only meets immediate requirements but also has long-term strategic significance, contributing to enhancing centralized leadership, command and operation capacity; ensuring smooth communication; enhancing readiness to respond to complex security and order situations.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong affirmed that this is a key project, of special political, legal and social significance, marking a new step in the development of enhancing the potential and working conditions for the police force in the province.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested investors, consulting units, and construction contractors to closely coordinate, ensuring progress, quality, aesthetics, and absolute safety, and putting the project into effective use soon.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the project has practical significance towards welcoming the 14th National Party Congress and important political events of the country, the Public Security sector and Khanh Hoa province.
When completed, the new headquarters will contribute to changing the appearance of the Provincial Police Command, effectively serving the fight and building an increasingly disciplined, elite and modern police force.
The Minister of Public Security requested relevant units to strictly comply with legal regulations, enhance their sense of responsibility, ensure the project is completed on schedule, with quality and absolute safety.
At the same time, he requested Khanh Hoa Provincial Police to continue to stabilize the organization of the apparatus, complete assigned political tasks well, and contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment to serve the socio-economic development of the locality.
