On December 24, the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity (SPC) of Lang Son province held its 11th meeting.
According to information from the Provincial Steering Committee for Traffic Safety Prevention and Control, in 2024, the province has established a working group to inspect and review contents related to the implementation of the project to upgrade the section Km18 - Km80, National Highway 4B and the Huu Nghi - Chi Lang border gate expressway project under the direction of the Central Government.
In addition, the Steering Committee has also established a working group to inspect and supervise organizations and individuals involved in the settlement and handling of cases and incidents under the supervision and direction of the Provincial Steering Committee, which are still behind schedule, and to inspect and supervise the leadership and direction of corruption and negativity prevention work at agencies and units. The province has fully implemented 6/6 inspections and supervisions of the Steering Committee for the Prevention and Control of Corruption and Negligence.
Through inspection, the Provincial Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Corruption directed functional agencies to detect and prosecute 29 cases and 53 defendants related to corruption.
In addition, the province has also included a number of cases in the Provincial Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Traffic Accidents for monitoring and direction in 2025.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Prevention and Control of Traffic Accidents in Lang Son province, highly appreciated the results achieved. At the same time, he requested the Party committees, authorities, agencies and units at all levels of the province to continue to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement the policies, resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Central Steering Committee and the province's directive documents on the work of preventing and controlling traffic accidents.
