The Conference to summarize 10 years of implementing the Regulations on coordination in the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity (PCTNLPTC) took place at the State Audit Office (SA). Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on PCTNLPTC, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform attended and directed the Conference.
Comrades: Vo Van Dung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Member of the Central Steering Committee on PCTNLPTC; Ngo Van Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Party Committee Secretary, State Auditor General, Member of the Central Steering Committee on PCTNLPTC; Nguyen Huu Dong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Ha Thi My Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Deputy State Auditor General - co-chaired the Conference.

In his opening speech, State Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan emphasized that immediately after the Coordination Regulations were signed, the two agencies have made efforts to seriously implement them, contributing to improving the effectiveness of PCTNLPTC through auditing activities. The State Audit always consultes the Central Internal Affairs Commission when developing an annual audit plan, especially in areas that are prone to negative outcomes and are of public interest.
Over the past 10 years, coordination between the two agencies has been carried out closely and effectively, ensuring the principles and methods of coordination. Many important recommendations and advice on major mechanisms and policies in the field of PCTNLPTC have been sent to the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Steering Committee.
Most leadership and direction documents on PCTNLPTC have the participation of the State Audit. In particular, the State Audit has transferred 38 cases with signs of crime to the investigation agency; provided 13 audit reports to the Central Internal Affairs Commission; coordinated audits under the direction of the Steering Committee for cases with signs of corruption and waste.

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee on PCTNLPTC, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform highly appreciated the coordination results, contributing to creating strong changes in PCTNLPTC work. He cited three outstanding results: Closely coordinated in developing and implementing work plans; participated in developing many important projects and documents, including Conclusion 182-KL/TW of the Politburo on handling land violations; and effectively implemented the Coordination Mechanism for detecting and handling corruption through inspection, examination and auditing activities.
He also pointed out some limitations that need to be overcome and suggested that the two agencies focus on implementing five key tasks: improving the effectiveness of coordination to perfect institutions; increasing participation in developing projects and policies; promoting coordination in detecting and handling corruption; closely directing coordination between the regional State Audit Office and the local Internal Affairs Department; focusing on controlling power, building a clean and strong team of cadres.
At the Conference, the Central Internal Affairs Commission and the State Audit signed the Regulations on coordination in PCTNLPTC work, replacing the Coordination Regulations No. 02-QCPH/BNCTW-BCSDKTNN dated March 11, 2015.

The Central Internal Affairs Commission and the State Audit also presented Commemorative Medals and Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals who have made many contributions to the implementation of the Regulations on coordination between the two agencies.
