At the conference, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the policy of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on key leadership personnel plans for 38 communes and wards after the merger.
Accordingly, during the trial operation, both operating and drawing experience for other communes and wards. At the same time, continue to review all stages and tasks to ensure careful preparation of conditions to put the new apparatus into official operation from July 1.
According to Mr. Vu Manh Ha - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee, leaders of communes after the merger must proactively assign and manage work immediately after it comes into operation.
Mr. Ha also emphasized that he did a good job of ideological work, encouraging cadres, party members, civil servants, and public employees to overcome difficulties in terms of headquarters, means of transport, working conditions, accommodation, living conditions, etc.
According to Resolution No. 1670, dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Lai Chau province merged 106 administrative units at the commune, ward and town level, and established 38 new communes and wards.
The wards include: Tan Phong, Doan Ket.
The communes include: Muong Kim, Khoen On, Than Uyen, Muong Than, Pac Ta, Nam So, Tan Uyen, Muong Khoa, Ban Bo, Binh Lu, Ta Leng, Khun Ha, Sin Suoi Ho, Phong Tho, Dao San, Si Lo Lau, Khong Lao, Tua Sin Chai, Sin Ho, Hong Thu, Nam Tam, Pu Sam Cap, Nam Cuoi, Nam Ma, Le Loi, Nam Hang, Muong Mo, Hua Tr Tr Trieu, Tr Tr Trieu Hoa, Bum To, Muong Te, Thu Lum, Pa Trieu, Mu Ca, Ta Tong.
