Arrange public housing for 880 people
According to the Resolution of the 11th Conference of the Party Central Committee (13th tenure), Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong provinces will merge into a new province called Lam Dong.
The new provincial Administrative - Political Center is located in Da Lat city. To serve the activities immediately after the merger of the province, the Department of Finance of Lam Dong province has developed a plan to arrange public housing for cadres, civil servants and public employees.
Statistics show that there are currently about 2,200 provincial-level cadres, civil servants and public employees in Dak Nong and Binh Thuan provinces. After a 20% reduction in the number of cadres, civil servants and public employees, there will be about 1,760 people.
Of these, in addition to the plan to continue working at the administrative headquarters of localities, there are about 880 people with housing needs in Da Lat city (about 50% of cadres, civil servants, and public employees).
In order to solve the housing problem for these cadres, civil servants and public employees, the Department of Finance proposed a plan to use existing real estate facilities in Da Lat city of this province.
Of which, the group of cadres and civil servants leading the province and departments and branches has 157 people, expected to arrange accommodation at 5 real estate facilities including: The official housing area of the Provincial Party Committee of Trieu Viet Vuong Street; No. 07 Tran Hung Dao; No. 11 Tran Hung Dao; No. 05 Nguyen Thai Hoc and No. 04 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai.
For the remaining group of cadres, civil servants and public employees, it is expected to arrange accommodation at real estate facilities including: No. 01 Lu Gia; No. 03 Pasteur; No. 284 Phu Dong Thien Vuong; No. 32 Nguyen Du; No. 29A Hung Vuong and No. 03 Hai Thuong.
The Department of Finance also proposes real estate facilities to reserve when necessary needs arise such as: No. 01 Tran Quang Dieu Street; No. 03 Yen The; No. 01 Trieu Viet Vuong; Da Lat Training and Funds Center dormitory area under the National Academy of Public Administration...

Ensuring a workplace immediately after the merger
Regarding the plan to arrange working headquarters, in addition to using existing headquarters, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Finance proposed to take advantage of a number of other facilities to arrange immediate operations, limiting prolonged major repairs.
Specifically, the working headquarters of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council will continue to be used at No. 2 Tran Hung Dao and will be arranged at No. 22 Pasteur. The Provincial People's Committee's working headquarters will use the existing headquarters and supplement headquarters No. 4 Tran Hung Dao.
For departments and branches using existing headquarters, reclaim the leased area on the ground floor and renovate the roof area of the 5th floor, the 5-storey building block for work arrangement. Add the land plot at 8 Ba Thang Tu Street to the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
For public service units and associations, they will be arranged to work at the current headquarters of the Da Lat City Administrative Center. As for the Front units and political organizations, they will continue to be arranged to work at the existing headquarters.
In addition to the above addresses, the Lam Dong Provincial Department of Finance also proposed that when arising, it can arrange a working headquarters including: No. 29 Ba Thang 4 Street; No. 04 Le Hong Phong Street; No. 35 Tran Hung Dao Street; No. 10 Ba Thang 4 Street.
As for the workplace of the Party agency, the Provincial Party Committee Office is reviewing and developing arrangements according to its authority.
