On April 25, Mr. Truong Quang Lang - Chairman of the Da Huoai District Labor Federation - said that in recent times, the durian growing profession in the locality has developed strongly.
Workers in the area have applied the production model according to VietGAP standards, creating high-quality products, certified with 3-star OCOP and widely consumed in both domestic and export markets.
Therefore, the number of workers participating in this profession is increasing, it is necessary to have an organization to propagate, gather and protect their rights, Mr. Lang emphasized.
According to Mr. Lang, after a field survey and propaganda and mobilization, 81 workers in the durian growing industry voluntarily joined the Vietnam Trade Union.
