Vietnamese leaders congratulate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People's Party

The leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam congratulated the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People's Party.

The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian People's Party (June 28,51 - June 28, 2025), the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam sent a congratulatory message to the Central Executive Committee of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and the Cambodian People's House with the warmest congratulations.

The telegram reads:

Looking back on the past 74 years, despite many difficulties and challenges, thanks to the important foundation built by generations of hard-working Party leaders, the Cambodian People's Party has achieved many great victories, extremely glorious in the struggle for national liberation, saving the Cambodian people from epidemics, firmly protecting the achievements of the revolution, building a peaceful and stable Cambodia, developing prosperity, and increasingly enhancing its role and position in the region and the world.

The Communist Party of Vietnam and the people of Vietnam congratulate the Cambodian People's Party on those achievements and firmly believe that, promoting the tradition and valuable experiences that have been experienced in history and practice, the Cambodian People's Party, under the leadership of the Central Executive Committee and the Central Standing Committee, headed by President Hun Sen, will continue to lead the country to achieve many new and greater achievements in successfully implementing the Party's platform for the period 2023 - 2028 and the Quangled Strategy of the Government for the 7th tenure, making Cambodia a country with high average income by 2030 and high income by 2050".

The Communist Party of Vietnam also affirmed: Despite the current many changes, opportunities and challenges in the world and the region, especially when both countries are entering a new era, an era of strong and prosperous development, the Communist Party of Vietnam, the State and people of Vietnam affirm to always attach importance to and give top priority to developing relations with Cambodia and will do their utmost together with the Cambodian People's Party, the State and people of Cambodia to protect, preserve and foster the relationship between the two Parties, two States and peoples of the two countries.

On this occasion, General Secretary To Lam sent a flower basket to congratulate CPP Chairman, President of the Cambodian Senate Hun Sen and Honorary Chairman of CPP Heng Samrin; Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu sent a flower basket to congratulate CPP Vice Chairman, Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of CPP Say Chhum.

On this occasion, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son sent a congratulatory letter to CPP Standing Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, Head of the Central Commission for External Relations of CPP Prak Sokhonn.
