Lao Cai announces the list of 61 winning delegates of the Provincial People's Council

Lao Cai - The Election Commission has just issued a Resolution announcing the list of people elected as Delegates of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2026-2031.

According to the Lao Cai Election Commission, the whole province had 1,885,735/1,185,763 voters participating in voting, reaching 99.998%, showing the spirit of responsibility and high consensus of the people towards the important political event of the country.

In particular, 98/99 communes and wards achieved 100% of voters going to vote, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in the great festival of the whole people.

According to the announced results, 61 delegates elected to the Lao Cai Provincial People's Council are delegates selected from 105 candidates participating in the election, representing the will and aspirations of voters throughout the province.

The general assessment of the Election Commission shows that the election in Lao Cai was organized comprehensively successfully, the voter turnout rate reached almost absolute; security and order were ensured throughout the election process.

Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Election Commission Nguyen Tuan Anh affirmed: "The election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels, term 2026-2031, has been a great success, truly becoming a festival for the whole people. That success clearly demonstrates the spirit of solidarity and responsibility of the entire political system and of each voter towards their homeland and country; and at the same time creates motivation and an important foundation for Lao Cai province to continue to develop quickly and sustainably in the coming time.
