All gas stations must sell E10 gasoline
According to the provisions of Circular 50/2025/TT-BCT of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the roadmap for applying the blending ratio of biofuels in Vietnam has had important changes since June 1, 2026.
According to Clause 1, Article 4, unleaded gasoline according to current national technical regulations must be mixed and blended into E10 gasoline to supply and use for gasoline engines nationwide. Although E10 gasoline has been widely applied since this time, E10 gasoline is not only sold on the market.
According to Clause 2, Article 4 of this Circular, E5RON92 gasoline will still be allowed to be mixed and mixed for use. The circulation route of E5RON92 gasoline will last until the end of December 31, 2030.
To ensure that the roadmap is implemented seriously, the Domestic Market Management and Development Department has issued Official Dispatch 1525/TTTN-NV. Accordingly, from June 1, 2026, functional forces will inspect and strictly handle gasoline and oil retail stores that do not sell E10 gasoline on schedule.
Block calls in the afternoon if changing phones without biometric authentication
Article 8 of Circular No. 08/2026 of the Ministry of Science and Technology stipulates that from June 15, when detecting a subscriber having changes in terminal equipment compared to previously used equipment, telecommunications enterprises must implement measures to review and may temporarily suspend the provision of incoming telecommunications services (telephone calls, sending SMS messages to other mobile subscribers) for a maximum of 2 hours if the subscriber has not re-verified the biometrics of facial images.
Verification is carried out by comparing a direct face photo of the subscriber with data in the National Population Database, ID Database, National Immigration Database or biometric data that has been legally stored at the telecommunications enterprise.
The above regulation aims to prevent telecommunications agents from using illegally collected personal information to pre-register SIM cards, then resell them to others for use without transferring ownership.
