At the Conference, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the CATW Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security presented the Preliminary Report on the work in the first 6 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2026 in the CATW Party Committee.
Speaking to direct at the Conference, General Secretary and President To Lam; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Prime Minister Le Minh Hung acknowledged the achievements and results achieved by the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security in the past time. At the same time, he emphasized that in the results achieved by the political system, there is an extremely important contribution from the People's Public Security Forces.
Agreeing with the assessment of the National Assembly Chairman and the Prime Minister, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized some outstanding results of the People's Public Security Forces from the beginning of 2026 to date.
In which, the People's Police force continues to clearly affirm its loyalty to the Party, filial piety to the people, exemplary implementation of the 14th Party Congress Resolution, the Party's strategic guidelines, strongly spreading the spirit of action through very specific tasks. Strategic advisory work continues to make new progress.
Social order crimes continue to be deeply reduced; the fight against crimes and violations of the law on food safety and hygiene, and fraud has achieved many positive results. Continue to promote the core role of national digital transformation.
Preliminary review of 1 year of implementing the new model of the political system shows that the Police force received and deployed 5 new tasks with better and more effective results serving the People.
Regarding the key tasks for the last 6 months of the year, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized a number of issues. In which, resolutely deploy national security protection in accordance with the Party's new thinking and awareness, expand the scope of protection, strengthen capacity, and maintain national security in all situations. Focus on advising on building a disciplined, safe, civilized, harmonious, and developed society.
Continue to clearly affirm the exemplary role in implementing Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and digital transformation. Focus on building the Ba Nhat People's Police force and implementing the goal of modernity to meet requirements and tasks.
On this occasion, at the Conference, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Secretary and President To Lam congratulated the comrades who were trusted by the Politburo to be appointed to participate in the CATW Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, and wished them to excellently complete their glorious mission, together with the CATW Party Committee to lead the Police force to successfully implement the Resolution of the VIII CATW Party Congress, creating a foundation for successfully implementing the Resolution of the XIV Party Congress.
