According to the Standing Committee of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, social networks are becoming a potential power force for the ideological life of millions of people.

On March 17, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Communist Magazine, and the Central Theoretical Council to organize a National Workshop on "P Party theoretical Work and Important Research orientations to 2030, with a vision to 2045".

Speaking at the workshop, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu said that theoretical work plays a very important role in the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

The revolutionary history of the nation over the past 95 years under the leadership of the Party has proven and affirmed the correct theoretical thinking and revolutionary guidelines of the Party, especially the correct policies and decisions over the past 40 years of national renovation and in recent times.

Looking back on the journey of innovation over the past 40 years, Mr. Tran Cam Tu said that Vietnam has gone from a poor, backward, low-educated country, surrounded and embargoed country to a developing country with average income, deeply integrated into global politics and economy.

Currently, the scale of the economy is over 475 billion USD, ranking 32nd in the world; import-export reached 786.29 billion USD; Vietnam's national brand value reached 507 billion USD, ranking in the top 20 economies in trade and attracting foreign investment.

"This achievement is a crystallization of the will, extraordinary determination and creativity of the Vietnamese people under the leadership of the Party, affirming that the path to socialism in Vietnam is correct, in line with the objective laws and development trends of the times" - Mr. Tran Cam Tu said.

According to the Standing Committee of the Secretariat, our country is entering a new era of development, opening up great opportunities but also posing many challenges. This requires constant innovation, continuing to improve the thinking, intelligence, and bravery of the Party, and having new ways of doing things, new breakthroughs in theoretical awareness.

In the immediate period, it is necessary to resolutely and successfully implement strategic goals, by 2030 Vietnam will become a developing country with modern industry and high average income. By 2045, it will become a developed socialist country with high income.

Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu requested to focus on discussing and clarifying the perception of socialism and the development trend of the contemporary world.

Emphasizing the need to clarify how the Party's leadership method needs to be supplemented and developed in the Fourth Industrial Science Revolution, Mr. Tran Cam Tu suggested a number of questions: What tools will the Party lead development based on based on science, technology and innovation; How should the Party organize and build to be able to lead the country in the digital transformation process; What forces does the Party need to be able to lead, inspect and supervise changes brought by new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) ...

According to the Standing Committee of the Secretariat, in the awareness of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, the issue of orientation, propaganda, ideological education, press management, information grasp, public opinion... it is necessary to take a step forward, forecast trends, the nature of the movement, the nature of the problem to provide sharp scientific arguments, serve the fight, refute erroneous and hostile views, phanfect, protect the Party, the regime, protect the people and the nation.

Social networks are becoming a potential power force for the ideological life of millions of Vietnamese people at home and abroad, what should ideological work do to protect the Party's ideology in a virtual world created by humans and artificial intelligence, what should be done to propagate and educate the ideology of digital citizens, Mr. Tran Cam Tu suggested.
