HCMC - On March 17, HCMC Police are investigating and clarifying the cause of the fire at an iron workshop in Hoc Mon district that caused many workers to flee.

According to initial information, on the morning of the same day, people saw a fire at an iron workshop in alley 101 Dong Thanh 7 (Dong Thanh commune, Hoc Mon district).

At this time, workers working here and the people in the hamlet mobilized fire extinguishers to put out the fire, and at the same time tried to move assets and gas cylinders to suppress them.

The fire then broke out strongly accompanied by many loud explosions, so people and workers did not dare to get near, and the fire fighting work on the spot was unsuccessful.

After receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Hoc Mon District dispatched many fire trucks and officers and soldiers to the scene.

Nearly 1 hour later, the fire was controlled. At the scene, part of the factory's roof collapsed. Many assets and machinery inside the factory were damaged by the fire.

Fortunately, there were no casualties in the fire. The cause and damage from the fire are being clarified by the police.
