This content is stated in Directive No. 07-CT/TW dated July 13, 2026 of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and practice of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, methods, and style in the new development stage".
The Directive clearly states that in the new development stage, the requirement to build and rectify the Party and the political system to be clean and strong requires the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style to strongly shift to regular, conscious, and practical practice; associated with the quality and effectiveness of task performance and results of serving the people.
The Politburo requests Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and cadres and party members to focus on performing key tasks well.
In which, strengthening the leadership and direction of studying and practicing Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, methods, and style; identifying this as a key and regular task of the entire political system and each cadre and party member.
Raising awareness and responsibility in preserving and promoting the value of Ho Chi Minh's legacy - the invaluable spiritual asset of our Party and nation, crystallized from his life, revolutionary career, ideology, ethics, methods and style; is a source of great strength and motivation to successfully implement strategic goals and tasks in the new development stage.
Studying and practicing according to Uncle Ho must be associated with the responsibility of setting an example, public service ethics, scientific and democratic working methods, close to the people, close to the people, for the people; well implementing the viewpoint "the people are the root", respecting, listening to, and promoting the people's right to mastery, promptly resolving pressing issues and legitimate petitions; contributing to building a truly "ethical, civilized" Party, and a contingent of cadres and party members "both red and professional".
Promoting the supervisory role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people in maintaining morality and lifestyle, fulfilling the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members; taking products, quality, work efficiency and the satisfaction of people and businesses as a measure of the results of studying and practicing according to Uncle Ho.
The Politburo's Directive also clearly states that studying and practicing Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, methods, and style is associated with building leadership culture, public service culture, and the responsibility of performing public duties and cultural behavior of cadres and party members; the core is to creatively apply his ideology to implement key tasks and strategic breakthroughs of each locality, agency, and unit.
Learning and practicing according to Uncle Ho, first of all, is about bravery and innovative thinking: Daring to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to face difficulties and challenges, dare to act for the common good; focusing on promptly and thoroughly removing bottlenecks and obstacles, unlocking resources, and creating motivation for development.
Practice ethics, methods and working styles that are democratic, scientific, effective, close to reality, close to the people, close to the people, for the people; build a contingent of cadres and party members who are diligent, economical, honest, upright, impartial, wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and serving the People; promptly replace cadres who avoid and shirk responsibility, lack the courage to innovate, dare not decide, dare not do, dare not take responsibility for the common good.
Building and implementing cultural standards in leadership and management; building a disciplined, safe, civilized, harmonious, and developed society; actively fighting and refuting false and hostile information and views, opposing the Party and State and dividing the great national unity bloc.
Linking studying and practicing following Uncle Ho with patriotic emulation movements; strongly arousing the aspiration for development, the spirit of self-reliance, confidence, self-strengthening, national pride among cadres, party members and people to successfully implement socio-economic development tasks, ensure national defense, security, foreign affairs, and build a clean and strong Party and political system.
