The Inspectorate sector is expected to complete many databases in 2026

The Government Inspectorate said it is deploying the construction of a number of national databases, expected to be completed this year.

Information from the Government Inspectorate said that, implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology development, innovation and national digital transformation, the Government Inspectorate has been and is drastically directing the promotion of information technology application and digital transformation in performing the functions and tasks of agencies and sectors.

Currently, the Government Inspectorate is deploying the construction of 4 national databases on: (1) controlling assets and income of people in positions and powers; (2) citizen reception, handling and resolving complaints, denunciations, petitions, and reflections; (3) preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; (4) accountability in public service activities and specialized databases (Digital platforms for inspection work) to connect, update, share, and use nationwide, expected to be completed in 2026.

The Government Inspectorate requests ministries, sectors and especially localities to pay attention, coordinate, and update data to ensure "correct, sufficient, clean, and live" so that these databases can well serve state management, improve the effectiveness of inspection, citizen reception, complaint and denunciation resolution, and anti-corruption, wastefulness, and negativity.

Previously in July, regarding inspection work, the Government Inspectorate said that the entire agency conducted 46 inspections; issued 27 inspection conclusions; concluded 11 direct inspections and is conducting 13 direct inspections; completed a thematic inspection of redundant houses and land after arrangement nationwide; the entire sector has issued full inspection conclusions and sent reports to the Prime Minister.

The topic of mineral management, licensing, and exploitation has completed a summary report submitted to the Prime Minister; the topic of gasoline and oil business, environmental monitoring, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment and planting area codes continue to be implemented according to the plan.

Inspector General of the Government Nguyen Quoc Doan requested units to continue to concretize the conclusions and directions of the Central Government and the Government Inspectorate into programs and plans with the spirit of "6 clear"; accelerate the progress of inspections according to the 2026 plan; ensure the quality of conclusions and inspection recommendations that are true to the nature of the case, feasible and effective in implementation.

At the same time, continue to focus on handling outstanding and complex complaints and denunciations; promote the construction of an inspection sector database; complete sets of indicators to evaluate the work of preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; strengthen inspection and urging of the implementation of inspection conclusions and improve the quality of cadre management work.
