On June 30, the Hanoi People's Court held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision to appoint the Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of the affiliated area.
This is an event marking the first practical implementation of the regional People's Court organization model according to the Law on People's Court Organization 2024 (amended), officially effective from July 1, 2025.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ky - Chief Justice of the Hanoi People's Court - emphasized that the implementation of the model of regional People's Courts under the provincial People's Court is a major step in the process of judicial reform, stipulated in the Law on Organization of the People's Court 2024 (amended) - just passed by the National Assembly on June 24.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the decision to appoint 12 Chief Justice of the Regional People's Court under the Hanoi People's Court.
On the same day, June 30, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court held a ceremony to announce the decisions of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court (SPP) on personnel work of the People's Court at both levels of Ho Chi Minh City.
Authorized by the Chief Justice of the People's Court, Mr. Pham Cong Toai - Deputy Head of the Organization - Personnel Department of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court announced the decision of the Chief Justice of the People's Court to appoint 9 judges and Ms. to the position of Deputy Chief Justice of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court.
At the same time, the decision of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court on the appointment of 19 Chief Justice and 99 Deputy Chief Justice of the People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City was announced.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Thanh Phong - Chief Justice of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court congratulated the appointed 9 Deputy Chief Justice of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court, 19 Chief Justice, and 99 Deputy Chief Justice of the regional People's Court.
Mr. Le Thanh Phong suggested that the appointed people continue to perform the trial task, without interruption; increase the arrangement and handover of work; innovate leadership methods and creativity in work.
At the same time, carry out the task of updating family marriage records to include in national data, this is the task of implementing the 9-day and night campaign, not for the reason of merging to implement inadequately, incorrectly, or in a timely manner.
