Recently, the Standing Secretariat held a Conference to announce the Politburo's Decision on the establishment and appointment of personnel of four Party Committees directly under the Central Committee; on the functions, tasks, powers, organizational structure, and working relationships of three Party agencies at the Central level.
At this conference, representatives of the Central Organizing Committee announced the Politburo and Secretariat's decisions on personnel.
Accordingly, the Politburo decided that Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, and Chief of the Party Central Committee Office - ceased to hold the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee Office.
The Politburo decided that Mr. Le Hoai Trung - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission - would cease to hold the position of Head of the Party Central Committee's External Relations Commission and be transferred and appointed to the position of Chief of the Party Central Committee's Office.
The Politburo decided to assign Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department - to hold the position of Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
The Politburo decided to assign and appoint the following Deputy Heads of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission: Lai Xuan Mon - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Pham Tat Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Ngo Dong Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Van Hieu - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.
The Secretariat decided to assign and appoint Deputy Heads of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, including the following personnel: Dinh Thi Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Vu Thanh Mai, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Phan Xuan Thuy, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Lam, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Do Van Phoi, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Trieu Tai Vinh, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Quang Duc, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.
The Politburo decided to assign Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission - to hold the position of Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission.
The Politburo decided to assign the following personnel to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission; Pham Dai Duong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.
The Secretariat decided to assign the following personnel to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee: Nguyen Duy Hung - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee; Nguyen Hong Son - Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee.
