On August 29, the Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Party Committee held a conference to announce the decision on personnel work.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee announced the decision to retire early for Mr. Le Thanh Nghia, Deputy Chief of Office of the City Party Committee; Ms. Vu Thi Hieu Dong, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper and Radio and Television; Mr. Truong Van Chuyen, Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper (old); Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Can Tho Newspaper (old); Mr. Nguyen Vu Phuong, former member of the City Party Committee, former Chairman of the Can Tho City Farmers' Association; Mr. Trinh Van Chau, Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City Farmers' Association; Mr. Nguyen Thuy Hue, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Chairman of the Can Tho City Party Committee, Chairman of the Can Tho City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Chairman of the Can Tho City Party Committee.
At the same time, the decision to resign Mr. Dinh Van Chinh, former member of the Inspection Committee of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee (old) was announced.
Comrades who retire early and quit their jobs from August 30, 2025; the regime and policies are resolved according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government.
On the same day, the People's Committee of Can Tho City held a conference to implement decisions on personnel work. The representative of the Department of Home Affairs announced the decision of the Chairman of the City People's Committee on early retirement for 9 Deputy Directors of the Department.
Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Giang, Deputy Director of the Department of Health; Mr. Duong Vinh Hao, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Ms. Tran Hoai Phuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Doan Trung Kien, Deputy Director of the Department of Justice; Mr. Tran Quoc Theo, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Mr. Quach Hoang Dep, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction; Mr. Ma Chi Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Huu Ai, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Pham Nam Huan, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
According to the decision, the above comrades will retire early from September 1, 2025 to enjoy social insurance benefits according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government.
