Place of candidacy for Deputy Prime Minister and Ministers of the 16th National Assembly

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra and 11 Ministers, heads of sectors, and acting Ministers were introduced to run for National Assembly deputies of the 16th term.

The National Election Council has announced the official list of 864 candidates in 182 constituencies to elect 500 National Assembly deputies (NA deputies) of the 16th term.

According to this list, among the Government candidates participating in the National Assembly Deputy election are:

Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra.

Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra (from Nghe An), currently a National Assembly Deputy of the XV term belonging to the delegation of Lao Cai province.

This time, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra continued to run for election in constituency No. 1, including Au Lau, Nam Cuong, Van Phu, Yen Bai wards and Bao Ai, Thac Ba, Yen Binh, Cam Nhan, Yen Thanh, Khanh Hoa, Lam Thuong, Luc Yen, Muong Lai, Phuc Loi, Tan Linh, Hung Khanh, Luong Thinh, Quy Mong, Tran Yen, Viet Hong communes (Lao Cai province).

General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense.

He is currently a National Assembly Deputy of the XV term belonging to the delegation of Thai Nguyen province.

This time, he continued to run for election in constituency No. 1, including Phan Dinh Phung, Linh Son, Quan Trieu, Tich Luong, Gia Sang, Quyet Thang wards and Tan Cuong, Dong Hy, Quang Son, Van Lang, Trai Cau, Nam Hoa, Van Han, Vo Nhai, Dan Tien, Trang Xa, Nghinh Tuong, Than Sa, La Hien, Sang Moc communes (Thai Nguyen province).

General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security.

This is his first time running for National Assembly Deputy. He ran for election in constituency No. 3, including Son Nam, Pho Hien, Hong Chau wards and Xuan Truc, An Thi, Nguyen Trai, Hong Quang, Doan Dao, Nghia Dan, Luong Bang, Duc Hop, Hiep Cuong, Hoang Hoa Tham, Tien Tien, Tong Tran, Tien Hoa, Tien Lu, Tan Hung, Quang Hung, Long Hung, Ngu Thien communes (Hung Yen province).

Mr. Le Hoai Trung - Member of the Politburo, Member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He is currently a National Assembly Deputy of the XV term in Hue City. This time, he continues to run for election in constituency No. 4, including Phu Vinh, Phu Vang, Phu Ho, Phu Loc, Hung Loc, Loc An, Chan May - Lang Co, Vinh Loc, Khe Tre, Nam Dong, Long Quang communes (Hue City).

Mr. Tran Duc Thang - Member of the Politburo, Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

This is his first time running for National Assembly Deputy. He ran for election in constituency No. 3, including Long Binh, Long My, Long Phu 1, Vi Tan, Vi Thanh wards and Thanh Xuan, Tan Hoa, Vi Thanh 1, Long Tay School, Hoa Luu, Vinh Vien, Luong Tam, Xa Phien, Vinh Thuan Dong, Vi Thuy, Vinh Tuong, Hoa An, Phuong Binh, Phung Hiep, Tan Binh, Thanh Hoa communes (Can Tho City).

Ms. Dao Hong Lan - Member of the Party Central Committee; Member of the Government Party Committee; Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Health.

She contested in constituency No. 4 including wards: Kinh Bac, Vo Cuong, Vu Ninh, Hap Linh, Nam Son, Que Vo, Phuong Lieu, Nhan Hoa, Dao Vien, Bong Lai and communes Chi Lang, Phu Lang (Bac Ninh province).

Mr. Tran Hong Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee; Member of the Executive Committee of the Government Party Committee; Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Construction.

He is currently a NA Deputy of the XV term belonging to the delegation of Cao Bang province and continues to run for election in constituency No. 1 including Thuc Phan, Nung Tri Cao, Tan Giang wards and Thanh Long, Can Yen, Thong Nong, Truong Ha, Nam Tuan, Hoa An, Bach Dang, Ha Quang, Lung Nam, Tong Cot, Quang Han, Minh Khai, Canh Tan, Thach An, Dong Khe, Kim Dong communes (Cao Bang province).

Mr. Nguyen Kim Son - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Government Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Education and Training.

He is a NA Deputy of the XV term belonging to the Hanoi City delegation and continues to run for election in Hanoi City in constituency No. 11 including Me Linh, Yen Lang, Tien Thang, Quang Minh, Soc Son, Da Phuc, Noi Bai, Trung Gia, Kim Anh communes.

Mr. Do Thanh Binh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Government Party Committee; Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Home Affairs.

He is currently a National Assembly Deputy of the XV term belonging to the delegation of An Giang province.

This time he is running for election in constituency No. 13, including Binh Dong, Chanh Hung, Phu Dinh wards and Vinh Loc, Tan Vinh Loc, Binh Loi, Tan Nhut, Binh Chanh, Hung Long, Binh Hung communes (Ho Chi Minh City).

Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Government Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Finance.

This is the first time Ms. Hong has run for National Assembly Deputy and run for election in constituency No. 3 including Moc Son, Moc Chau, Thao Nguyen, Van Son and communes of Bac Yen, Pac Nga, Xim Vang, Ta Xua, Ta Khoa, Chieng Sai, Suoi To, Muong Coi, Phu Yen, Muong Bang, Gia Phu, Tuong Ha, Kim Bon, Tan Phong, Chieng Son, Long Sap, Tan Yen, Doan Ket, Song Khua, To Mua, Van Ho, Xuan Nha (Son La province).

Mr. Le Manh Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Government Party Committee Executive Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade.

He is a National Assembly Deputy of the XV term of the Ca Mau delegation.
