On January 24, 2025, the Politburo issued Decision No. 1893-QDNS/TW on appointing Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the XV National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh Province - to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee - congratulated Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong on being appointed by the Politburo and the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee. This shows the trust of the Politburo and the Secretariat in the province's personnel work as well as acknowledging the efforts of Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong during his work.
Mr. Dang Xuan Phuong holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term from August 2023, holding the position of Head of the XV National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province from January 2024.
