Highly focus on attracting new generation foreign direct investment (FDI) capital, large scale, high technology, especially processing, manufacturing, electronics, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, etc. Actively accompany and support businesses to invest in construction, put into operation, and add additional capacity as soon as possible, including putting Thanh Cong automobile factory into commercial production in the second quarter of 2025.
Promote investment attraction in high-quality tourism and service projects, develop golf courses according to the plan; promote the implementation of housing projects for workers and laborers in the coal industry, industrial parks; study and develop urban areas of Ha Long city in the direction of taking Cua Luc Bay as the center for urban development connection according to the multipolar model, expanding urban areas to the North. Speed up the construction of seaport infrastructure (Van Ninh, Nam, Bac Tien Phong, Dam Nha Mac) and attract secondary investors; attract investment in Con Ong - Hon Net port.
Along with that, strongly promote new growth drivers. In particular, focusing on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on creating breakthroughs in developing science and technology, innovation, digital transformation; promoting the development of digital government, digital economy, marine economy, heritage economy, night-time economy, sharing economy, green transformation, energy transformation and emerging industries and fields.
The Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee also requested that in the process of arranging the apparatus of the political system according to the Central Government's policy, it is necessary to arrange leaders and a team of cadres with sufficient qualities and abilities to carry out the tasks and solutions to achieve the set economic growth goals.
