During the term, the Party Committee and People of Duyen Hai Ward united to overcome difficulties and achieved many comprehensive results. Created jobs for 3,016 workers, of which 50 workers are working abroad; the rate of trained workers reached over 86%.
Social security work is focused on with 335 newly built and repaired houses for policy beneficiaries, with a total cost of 13.31 billion VND, along with thousands of gifts for poor households, near-poor households, and people with meritorious services. Currently, the whole ward has 13 poor households and 81 near-poor households under social protection.
At the Congress, delegates also discussed, delivered opinions and contributed opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party and documents of the 12th Vinh Long Provincial Party Congress.
With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", for the 2025 - 2030 term, the Party Committee focuses on 3 breakthroughs: Duyen Hai Ward focuses on developing trade, services, high-tech agriculture; investing in infrastructure, applying science and technology, supporting startups, improving people's lives.
The Congress agreed on 17 main targets on economy, culture - society, environment, national defense, security and building the political system.
Notably, the average income target by 2030 is that the commune strives for an average income per capita of 125 million VND, and people's lives are increasingly improved. Strive to meet the standards of a civilized urban area by 2030.
Speaking at the Congress, Truong Thanh Danh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province - acknowledged and praised the efforts and results that the Party Committee, government and people of Duyen Hai ward have achieved in the past term.
Mr. Danh suggested that Duyen Hai ward develop in a civilized and modern direction; review and adjust traffic planning and business projects; strengthen regional linkages, develop tourism, focus on vocational training, improve people's lives.
The ward Party Committee continues to build a team of cadres and party members who are brave, dare to think, dare to do; mobilize resources to build a civilized and modern ward; implement the resolution with clear assignments, each member sets an example, determined to complete the goal.
The Congress announced the Executive Committee of the Duyen Hai Ward Party Committee, term I, 2025 - 2030, including 33 comrades, the Standing Committee of 11 comrades; Comrade Duong Van Trieu was appointed as Secretary of the Duyen Hai Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
The Standing Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee also appointed 4 delegates to attend the Provincial Party Congress, including 3 official delegates and 1 absent delegate.
