On the afternoon of May 11, at the National Assembly House, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended and gave a speech at the 1st Party Congress of the Committee on Culture and Society, term 2025-2030.
At the Congress, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, Head of the Party Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee appointed to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, appointed the Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Culture and Social Affairs for the term 2025-2030.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee appoints: The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Committee of Culture and Social Affairs consists of 11 personnel; The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Culture and Social Affairs consists of 3 personnel.
Chairman of the Committee on Culture and Society Nguyen Dac Vinh holds the position of Secretary, Mr. Lam Van Doan holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Committee on Culture and Society for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the Congress, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man noted that the Party Committee of the Committee for Culture and Society focused on implementing the work of Party building, especially political and ideological work.
Research and thoroughly grasp the major policies issued by the Party; contents related to the field of responsibility in the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the documents of the First National Party Congress, to proactively, promptly institutionalize and effectively implement.
The Party Committee needs to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement Resolution 66 dated April 30, 2025 of the Politburo on innovating the work of law making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era.
Fully and effectively implement Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo; Resolution 193 of the National Assembly on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation development; Resolution No. 1343 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on building and developing the National Assembly Digital for the period 2024-2026, with a vision to 2030.
The Chairman of the National Assembly suggested that the Party Committee of Culture and Social Committee focused on advising and improving the law in the fields of the Committee in charge; submit to the National Assembly through the Law on Teachers, Employment Law, Advertising Law; Press Law.
In particular, recently, General Secretary To Lam directed relevant agencies to study and advise on 2 Resolutions of the Politburo and 2 national target programs on breakthrough development of education, training and creating breakthroughs in people's health care.
"These are major policies, of special significance, and we hope that the Party Committee will focus on research, proactively coordinate, and prepare well in the process of advising on policy development and many other laws so that from now until the end of the term, we can prepare for approval related to the cultural and social fields," the National Assembly Chairman emphasized.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man also emphasized the need to further strengthen substantial and effective coordination within and outside agencies such as: Ministry of Health, Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism... and other relevant agencies.
