On the afternoon of January 24, 2025, at the headquarters of the Central Economic Committee, a conference was held to implement the Politburo's Decision on the transfer, assignment and appointment of Mr. Pham Dai Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Committee.
Attending the conference, on behalf of the Central Organizing Committee, there was Mr. Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee. On behalf of the Central Economic Committee, there were Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Committee; Thai Thanh Quy, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of the Committee; Deputy Heads of the Committee: Nguyen Duy Hung, Nguyen Hong Son; and leaders of departments and units under the Central Economic Committee. Also attending were representatives of the Central Party agencies; representatives of the Standing Committee of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee; and a number of Central press reporters.
Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission, emphasized that Mr. Pham Dai Duong is a cadre with basic and specialized training, accumulated a lot of experience and practical experience during his time working in the locality; at the same time, expressed his belief that Mr. Pham Dai Duong will continue to promote his strengths, share, stick together, and unite with the leadership of the Central Economic Commission to complete the common goal. The leadership of the Central Economic Commission is committed to creating all favorable conditions for Mr. Pham Dai Duong to complete his tasks.
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Pham Dai Duong expressed his emotion and honor to be assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission. Mr. Pham Dai Duong promised to continue to cultivate, study, research, and unite with the leadership and staff of the Central Economic Commission to strive to fulfill the assigned tasks to the best of his ability. He also expressed his sincere thanks to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the staff and the people of Phu Yen province for their affection and support in completing the tasks in Phu Yen province over the past years. He hopes to receive the attention, direction and support of the leadership and staff of the Commission, and the effective coordination of central and local departments, ministries and branches to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
