On October 25, 2024, at the Central Party Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam presented the Politburo's Decision assigning Mr. Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee to hold the position of Standing Secretary of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee, according to VNA.
Also attending the decision-giving ceremony were Politburo members: President Luong Cuong and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man. Also attending were Politburo members and members of the Secretariat.
