At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court - attended and chaired. Also attending were leaders of the Supreme People's Court, representatives of leaders of Ca Mau province and officials and judges of the People's Courts at two levels of Ca Mau province.
According to the announced decision, Mr. Vo Ke Nghiep (born in 1969), Chief Justice of An Giang Provincial People's Court, was transferred and appointed to hold the position of Chief Justice of Ca Mau Provincial People's Court for a term of 5 years, from May 1, 2026.

Speaking to assign tasks, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Van Quang said that the arrangement of Chief Justices of Provincial People's Courts who are not local people is implemented according to the Party's policy to enhance leadership and management efficiency and meet task requirements in the new situation.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Ca Mau is a strategically important locality, posing many new requirements for socio-economic development as well as judicial work. Therefore, the transfer of Mr. Vo Ke Nghiep to work in Ca Mau is a recognition of the capacity, qualities and working process of officials.
The Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court requested the new Chief Justice of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Court to quickly grasp the local situation, promote the spirit of internal solidarity, build a contingent of officials to meet new requirements; promote digital transformation and proactively advise on handling disputes and lawsuits, contributing to removing difficulties for projects and works in the area.
Speaking to receive the assignment, Mr. Vo Ke Nghiep thanked the trust of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, leaders of the Supreme People's Court and the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee. He affirmed that this is a great honor and also a heavy responsibility.
The new Chief Justice of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Court commits to absolute loyalty to the Fatherland, people, the Constitution and laws; together with the leadership and civil servants of the two-level People's Courts of Ca Mau province to well perform the task of adjudication, protecting justice, maintaining security and order and serving the socio-economic development of the locality.
