On the morning of June 30, at the Long Hung Conference Center, Long Hung Commune, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee held a ceremony to announce the National Assembly's resolution on merging provinces; the Central Government's decisions on the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee and personnel for leadership of Dong Nai province after the merger.
Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission attended and directed the announcement ceremony.
At the announcement ceremony, Mr. Bui Van Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, announced the National Assembly Resolution on the establishment of the new Dong Nai province, the Politburo's Decision on the establishment of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, the Politburo's Decision on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretaries, and Deputy Secretaries of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
The Politburo decided to appoint the Executive Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, consisting of 66 comrades. Of which, 33 comrades of the old Dong Nai Party Executive Committee, 32 comrades of the old Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Executive Committee and 1 comrade of the Provincial Party Executive Committee - Chief Justice of the People's Court of Binh Duong province are expected to be transferred and appointed to the position of Chief Justice of the new Dong Nai Provincial People's Court.
Appointing the Standing Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, including 15 comrades, including 8 comrades of the Standing Committee of the old Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and 7 comrades of the Standing Committee of the old Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee.
Appointing comrade Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th Province of Dong Nai to hold the position of Secretary of the new Provincial Party Committee of Dong Nai for the 2020-2025 term, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th Province of Dong Nai.
Appointing 4 comrades to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the new Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, including:
Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Central Executive Committee, Secretary of the old Binh Phuoc Provincial Party Committee, will become the Standing Deputy Secretary of the new Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, to be appointed as Chairman of the new Dong Nai Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.
The Deputy Secretaries include: Comrade Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of the old Dong Nai Province to appoint him as Chairman of the new Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term; Comrade Huynh Thi Hang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of the old Binh Phuoc Province; Comrade Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Province, Chairman of the People's Council of the old Dong Nai Province.
The Secretariat also appointed the Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term after the merger of 14 comrades, appointing comrade Tran Trung Nhan, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of the former Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term after the merger and merger.

The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front decided to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province from July 1, 2025; Decision to appoint 120 members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province for the 2024-2029 term.

After the merger, the new Dong Nai province has a natural area of 12,737 km2; a population of 4,427,700 people, 95 commune-level administrative units.
