Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has just signed and issued Resolution No. 1662/NQ-UBTVQH15 on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Dong Nai province in 2025.
After the arrangement, Dong Nai province has 95 commune-level administrative units, including 72 communes and 23 wards; including 67 communes, 21 wards formed after the arrangement and 7 commune-level administrative units that do not carry out the arrangement are: Phuoc Tan ward, Tam Phuoc ward, Thanh Son communes (Dinh Quan district), Dak Lua, Phu Ly, Bu Gia Map, Dak O.

This Resolution takes effect from the date of approval (16.6)
The competent authorities urgently carry out necessary preparations to ensure that local authorities in commune-level administrative units formed after the arrangement prescribed in Article 1 of this Resolution officially operate from July 1, 2025.
Local authorities in commune-level administrative units before the reorganization will continue to operate until the local government in commune-level administrative units is formed after the reorganization and officially operates.
