Hung Yen - The Provincial People's Committee held regular meetings, looking back at 9 months of economic growth, record high budget revenue and promoting key projects.

On October 6, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in September and held online conferences with localities. The meeting evaluated the direction and operation of socio-economic development in the first 9 months of 2025, and at the same time set out key tasks for the last months of the year.

According to the report, the province's economy continues to maintain stable growth momentum. GRDP is estimated at VND 114,792 billion, up 8.01% over the same period in 2024; total production value reached VND 437,394 billion, up 9.33%, of which the industrial and construction sector increased by 10.21%, services increased by 7.92%. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue reached VND156,706 billion, up 5.29%; agricultural production recovered, reaching VND31,931 billion, up 2.6%. Budget revenue reached VND 71,062 billion, equal to 128.3% of the annual estimate, the highest ever.

Investment attraction continues to stand out with 253 new projects and 209 projects adjusted to increase capital, the total newly granted and increased capital reaching 127,788 billion VND and 1.588 billion USD. The capital flow structure shifted to processing industry, clean energy and infrastructure. To date, 4,142 new enterprises have been granted business registration certificates with a total capital of VND 56,530 billion. Total social investment capital reached VND 105,148 billion, up 11.75%.

The disbursement of public investment capital was directed strongly, reaching VND19,3333 billion by September 24, equal to 47.9% of the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister. The Provincial People's Committee also focuses on perfecting the two-level government apparatus, reforming administration, transforming digitally and improving provincial competitiveness, in which PCI 2024 enters the top 10 nationwide for the first time. The fields of culture - society, social security, eliminating temporary houses, ensuring social order and safety are effectively maintained.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches and localities to strictly implement the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees, focus on site clearance for key projects, promote disbursement of public investment capital, remove difficulties for businesses, speed up the progress of industrial projects, digital transformation, science - technology, education, health and agriculture.

At the same time, continue to strengthen the commune-level government apparatus, reform substantial administration and ensure security and order, proactively respond to natural disasters, floods, and serve sustainable socio-economic development.
