This afternoon (October 29), at the Presidential Palace, President Luong Cuong had a friendly meeting with leaders, officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of the Office of the President, according to VNA.
Also attending were Party Central Committee member and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
Speaking at the meeting, President Luong Cuong expressed his joy and emotion to meet the entire team of leaders, civil servants and employees of the Office of the President - the agency that will accompany and assist the President in performing his duties in the new position entrusted to him by the Party, State and National Assembly.
Impressed by the glorious history of the Office, the President pointed out that after 75 years of construction, striving and growing, especially over 30 years of official re-establishment, generations of cadres, civil servants and employees of the Office of the President have made great efforts in organization and operation, strengthened coordination with central and local agencies, continuously improved the quality and efficiency of work; well served the internal and external activities of the President and Vice President according to the provisions of the Constitution, laws and tasks assigned by the Politburo, the Secretariat and the Central Executive Committee.
After listening to the general report on the situation, tasks and plans for the coming time, President Luong Cuong said that in order to successfully complete the task, in addition to his own efforts, the attention and assistance of the leaders of the Party, State, Central agencies, ministries, departments, branches and localities, he also hopes to receive the support and companionship of the Vice President, officials, civil servants and employees of the Office to be able to successfully complete the great responsibility in the position of head of State.
Promoting the glorious tradition of the Office of the President through the ages, President Luong Cuong believes and hopes that the leaders, cadres, civil servants and employees of the Office of the President will continue to unite, uphold the spirit of responsibility, dedication, diligence, proactiveness, creativity, strive to compete well, work well, build the Party and the agency to be increasingly clean, strong and comprehensive, worthy of being a research agency, strategic advice serving the President and Vice President.
