On August 17, the Ho Tram Commune Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City, held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.
Attending the congress were Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Vo Ngoc Thanh Truc, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and delegates, representing party members in the whole commune.
In the 2020-2025 period, Ho Tram's economy will grow dynamically with two spearheads: high-quality services - tourism and high-tech agriculture, in line with planning and potential and advantages. Many infrastructure projects and tourism projects have been implemented, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, Ho Tram commune aims to promote economic development, focusing on exploiting the potential of marine tourism and organic ecological agriculture production, applying high technology. In particular, strive to build Ho Tram commune into an international-class marine tourism center, a green, smart destination, combining conservation with development.
The locality expects to call for investment in at least 1 shopping mall; promote the advantages of the Ray River area... Attract many international tourism brands to invest, together tripling the number of tourists by 2030.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of Ho Tram commune in the past term. According to Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, the new term will open a new development phase with many opportunities, but also many challenges.
Therefore, Ho Tram commune needs to overcome bottlenecks, remove barriers and unlock investment resources for development; focus on developing a green economy, international-class tourism, and promoting digital transformation in all fields.
"In addition to development, the locality also needs to coordinate with Ho Chi Minh City to bring high-quality medical services to serve the people. Ho Tram people have the right to fully enjoy the policies, scientific and technological achievements... of Ho Chi Minh City", Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc emphasized.
The Congress also launched the Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. In which, Mr. Phan Khac Duy (formerly held the position of Chief of Office of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province; Secretary of Xuyen Moc district) was appointed as Secretary of the Ho Tram Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
