On August 25, 2025, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Notice No. 2228-TB/TU on early retirement for Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee agreed to let Mr. Bui Dinh Long retire early from September 1, 2025 according to the provisions of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government on policies for cadres, civil servants and public employees. The Provincial Party Committee assigned the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to implement.
Mr. Bui Dinh Long was born on July 6, 66. He has a PhD - Doctorate in CKII, senior political theory; joined the Party on August 22, 1995.
During his working career, Mr. Bui Dinh Long has held many positions in the Nghe An health sector. Since 1991, he has worked at Nghi Loc Hospital, then as Deputy Director and then Director of Nghe An Department of Health. He also held the position of Secretary of the Nam Dan District Party Committee.
In November 2019, he was elected Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee. At the first session of the 18th Provincial People's Council (July 4, 2021), he was re-elected as Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021 - 2026 term.
With more than 30 years of work, including many years holding key leadership positions, Mr. Bui Dinh Long has made many contributions to the health sector as well as the overall development of Nghe An province.
