On the morning of May 14, Chairman of Dong Thap People's Committee Tran Tri Quang handed over the decision to retire before the age to Mr. Tran Minh Ly - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Thap Province. Mr. Ly retired in accordance with the Government's Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP of December 31, 2024 amended and supplemented in Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of March 15, 2025 of the Government.
Reportedly, Mr. Tran Minh Ly is one of 6 deputy directors of the Department of Home Affairs after merging and consolidating 2 units: Department of Home Affairs and Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. After Mr. Ly retired, the Standing Committee of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Thap province had 6 members, including Director Nguyen Van Vu Minh and 5 Deputy Directors.
Mr. Tran Minh Ly has worked for 41 years in many roles and positions in many agencies and sectors, before becoming Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Thap province.
