On December 6, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and the Central working delegation worked with the People's Committee of Lam Dong province on the implementation of socio-economic development targets for 2025 and the work to overcome the consequences of natural disasters in recent days.
To date, the total state budget revenue in the locality is more than 32,000 billion VND, reaching more than 113% of the plan assigned by the locality, an increase of 20% compared to the plan assigned by the Central Government.

The average gross regional domestic product (GRDP) per capita is more than 109 million VND/person, reaching more than 109% of the plan, an increase of more than 13% over the same period.
However, Lam Dong province has 3 groups of targets that have not been completed, of which the GRDP growth rate is 7.5%, not reaching the plan of 8% according to the resolution of the Provincial People's Council.
To date, the disbursement rate of public investment capital in 2025 is estimated at 90%; the rate of public schools is 68% while the target is 70%.
Regarding the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, up to now, Lam Dong province has completed the temporary overcoming of landslides on Prenn Pass, Mimosa Pass, D'ran Pass, overcoming and opening National Highway 27C (section in Lam Dong province).

Lam Dong province has assigned relevant authorities to temporarily repair other key traffic routes in the area that have experienced landslides and subsidence to ensure traffic.
According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, floods have caused 23 houses of people to collapse or be swept away by water. Of which, 5 households need to receive support of VND 120 million/house; 18 other households need to request the state to renovate.

Currently, the province has started construction of 7 new houses, the remaining houses are expected to start construction, ensuring completion before January 15, 2026.
Lam Dong province said that there were 51 cases with damaged houses receiving a support level of 20 - 40 million VND/house and the locality mobilized forces to support people to repair and ensure safe housing.
Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son acknowledged and praised Lam Dong province's efforts in responding to natural disasters and supporting people to overcome the consequences of floods.

The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Lam Dong province implement the "Quang Trung Campaign" to quickly build and repair houses for people affected by damage according to plan.
Along with that, Lam Dong reviewed, counted, and provided timely support to affected households; paid attention to remote areas, ensuring that students could go to school.
The province needs to have a plan to provide plant varieties so that people can soon restore production; have a plan to build and reinforce infrastructure; coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to review the flood discharge process of dams and reinforce degraded irrigation dams to ensure safety.

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son emphasized that Lam Dong needs to make efforts with the highest spirit to complete economic and social targets.
On the same morning, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son and representatives of units and leaders of Lam Dong province attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of new houses for 4 households (Lac Thien 1 village, D'ran commune) whose houses collapsed due to recent floods.
