Lam Dong decided to support a maximum of 120 million VND for each house that collapsed or collapsed due to the recent floods.

On December 6, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee announced that Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep had signed a decision on the level of support to overcome the damage caused by floods in the area.

According to this decision, households with collapsed, collapsed, completely floating and no more housing will be supported with 120 million VND/house.

Households with flooded, partially collapsed or severely damaged houses are supported with 20 - 40 million VND/household, depending on the level of damage.

Households that had to relocate due to flooded or landslide-affected houses received support of VND5 million/household.

Households with collapsed or severely damaged houses that need to be repaired or renovated will be supported with a rental fee of 2 million VND/household/month for 2 months.

Students from primary schools and above from affected households are supported with VND500,000/student to buy school supplies.

Households receiving support must reside legally at the time of the natural disaster. The Provincial People's Committee requests the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to review and summarize support needs from the budget according to regulations.

According to a quick report from the Provincial Civil Defense Command, floods on December 3 and 4 flooded 6,195 houses. Some areas were flooded 1 - 1.5m deep, mainly in the old Binh Thuan area.

As of December 5, the whole province had 23 houses that had collapsed, collapsed, or drifted and needed to be rebuilt; 51 damaged houses needed to be repaired.

Lam Dong province has mobilized military, police and youth forces to support people in repairing their houses, striving to ensure safe housing before December 30, 2025.
