At the Social Protection Facility and SOS Children's Village Dien Bien, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son visited, encouraged and presented Tet gifts to children in difficult circumstances.
The Deputy Prime Minister commended the province's efforts in caring for and supporting children in special circumstances, and highly appreciated the dedication of teachers and staff at the grassroots level.
At the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister asked teachers to continue to care for and accompany students not only in studying but also in practicing life skills, helping them have a solid foundation for adulthood.
Also this afternoon, at the headquarters of the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son presented gifts and sent New Year greetings to Dien Bien soldiers - living witnesses of the glorious victory of the past, Party members with 70 years of Party membership or more; presented 400 gifts to poor households, policy families and workers.
Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son affirmed that the Party and State always remember the great contributions of previous generations and will continue to care for and ensure a better life for policy families and meritorious people.
The Deputy Prime Minister also emphasized that caring for vulnerable groups in society not only demonstrates the responsibility of the Party and State but is also a beautiful cultural tradition of the nation.
