On the afternoon of January 18, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department - and the working delegation visited and presented 500 Tet gifts to policy families, the poor, workers and laborers in Thu Thua district and Tan An city (Long An province). Also joining the working delegation was Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong.
The Head of the Central Propaganda Department and the working delegation presented Tet gifts to policy households, poor households, union members, and workers, each worth 1.3 million VND (including a gift worth 300,000 VND and 1 million VND in cash).
Speaking at the gift presentation ceremony, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia expressed his joy at witnessing Long An's outstanding efforts in economic development associated with ensuring social security.
The Head of the Central Propaganda Department highly appreciated the province's attention to the people with sustainable poverty reduction policies, creating conditions for people to have a better life, especially the disadvantaged.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia suggested that Long An province continue to promote the tradition of "mutual love" to better care for people's lives so that no one is left behind.
